We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, hard-working, highly organised, and motivated individual to join our Edinburgh team.
As an experienced senior account manager or account director, you will already be a seasoned communications practitioner and media operator, with experience of managing multiple client projects in-house or within an agency environment. You will be required to deliver UK-wide campaigns, which means a passion for achieving results is essential.
You will manage and develop strategic objectives for a team of PR professionals and you will be accountable for the success of this team and have the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that clients feel they are getting consistently good consultancy advice and value. In addition, you will be involved in bringing in new business, market and client research, project managing the production of communications collateral, writing copy and developing creative communications strategies to meet a wide range of challenges and new business development.
You should possess excellent verbal and written skills, be confident at identifying and pitching news and feature ideas, at home with digital and social media, confident in identifying PR opportunities, and be committed to adding value to our client relationships. You should also possess excellent people skills and be adept at applying these in various situations, whether it’s at a networking event, hosting a cross-agency meeting or managing junior members of your team. You will be at ease with unfamiliar tasks and situations, be comfortable juggling competing priorities and retain a cool head under pressure.
