The Opportunity

We have an opening for an Account Manager to join our Edinburgh office on a full time, permanent basis. In this role, you’ll be working under an Account Director and as part of a team developing and implementing communications campaigns on behalf of clients across both public and private sector. The Edinburgh office has significant clients across key sectors including transport, energy and food and drink.

The Job

On a day to day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Developing creative and integrated communications strategies to meet a wide range of challenges
  • Stakeholder engagement and communications
  • Planning and attending events
  • Project managing the production of communications collateral
  • Writing copy
  • Market and client research
  • Analysis and evaluation
  • New business development

The Person

Ideally, we’re looking for the following:

  • Previous experience as an Account Manager
  • Exposure to an agency environment would be advantageous
  • Seasoned communications practitioner
  • Experience of managing multiple client projects, top notch attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Some experience of events
  • Personable with strong people skills
  • At home with digital and social media
  • Confident in identifying PR opportunities
  • Committed to adding value to our client relationships.
  • An enthusiastic, creative, hard-working, highly organised, and motivated team-player
